Where Are Our New Age Of Phenomenal Women?

When I think of a Phenomenal Woman I think of Lorraine Hansberry when she wrote “A Raisin In The Sun”. Nina Simone on the piano singing “Strange Fruit”. Miriam Makeba when she spoke out in front of the UN in 1963. Betty Shabazz, when she received her doctorate degree after her husband Malcolm Shabazz died. Corretta Scott King when she led the Memphis boycott march just days after her husband Martin Lurther King Jr. died. Lena Horne being blacklisted in Hollywood because she spoke out against segregation. I think of Maya Angelo writing her poems. I think of Michelle Obama becoming the first black First Lady Of The United States Of America, I think of the Virgin Mary becoming pregnant by the Holy Spirit, and raising up our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and all that came with that. The list goes on and on feel free to add to this list in the comments section.
