“People who are stuck in muck and the mire of their misery will spew out their venom on others just to deflect from their own everyday struggles.” Steve Harvey
When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” (Luke 19:37-40 NIV) Happy Palm Sunday in Christ Jesus name Amen!!!
The sayings of King Lemuel—an inspired utterance his mother taught him. Listen, my son! Listen, son of my womb! Listen, my son, the answer to my prayers! Do not spend your strength on women, your vigor on those who ruin kings. It is not for kings, Lemuel— it is not for kings to drink wine, not for rulers to crave beer, lest they drink and forget what has been decreed, and deprive all the oppressed of their rights. Let beer be for those who are perishing, wine for those who are in anguish! Let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more. Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. (Proverbs 31:1-9 NIV) That word strength in this context means wealth
In your lifetime their will be times where you will get a ladder handed down to you which will enable you to climb up into your next season. Do not become afraid to climb up that ladder whether it’s at your job (Do not become afraid to climb up that ladder) or if it’s simply just climbing out of the neighborhood in which you are from (Do not become afraid to climb up that ladder). Do not get into a situation where you get stuck or become complacent in one spot. No, sir! God wants us to continually develop. The bible tells us: being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6 NIV) God has put something in your heart for you to want to become great at. He will likewise help you complete that mission for your life, but you must climb up that ladder that he provides for you. God Bless
People always talking about we need to change as a people, but then when you come up with solutions to change they say here he goes preaching again. The truth is nobody wants to really change, because if they did at the end of the day they would be impelled to look at themselves in the mirror, and they may not like what they see. Thus, you see it’s our own selves getting in the way of forward progress
To all my women, ladies, young girls, etc. out there if you’re on social media following Kim Kardashian, and Amber Rose. Instead of following Michelle Obama and Loretta Lynch or Mo’ne Davis and Hillary Clinton. You are already setting yourself up for failure in life. The bible says Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. (Proverbs 13:20 NIV) Do not think for a second that what you ingest every day through your eyes on social media and tv will not affect your actions in life and the way you think. Once again Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. (Proverbs 13:20 NIV) So my question is what are you ingesting through your eyes every day?
